Hello, my name is Darlene Freeman. My family is a very close one and we have always done everything we can to look after each other. But as we grew older, it became more difficult to juggle real life and the needs of caring for my grandma. I wanted to be with her every step of the way through her golden years, but I also needed just a little help. Assisted living ended up being the right option. She has kind professionals who are with her whenever she needs help. But I am also able to visit her whenever I need to. Since I have spent so much time researching assisted living, I decided it was a good idea to create this blog on the subject.
